Follow the simple instructions and get a group of VMs with configured parameters and functionality that will ensure stable and automated operation of your application or service:
Name your Instance Group
Choose a unique and descriptive name for your instance group to easily identify it in the future.
* Specify a template for instances
Create or select a pre-made template for your instances. In this template, define settings such as operating system, resources, network settings, and other configuration options.
* Create an Instance Template
Customize and create an instance template based on the template you choose. The instance template will be used to create all the instances in your group.
* Change the VM to a smaller one
If required, edit the machine settings in your instance template to select a smaller resource size or machine type.
* Enable HTTP traffic
Make sure your instance group is configured to handle HTTP traffic if required by your application or service.
* Insert Script
Optionally, implement scripts or commands that will be run when each instance in the group starts. This may include installing software, setting up the environment, and other activities.
* Specify the minimum and maximum number of instances
Determine the minimum and maximum number of instances that should be running in your group. This will automatically scale the number of instances depending on the load.
* Create a Health Check and select it
Create a Health Check to check the health of your instances. Health Check will determine the performance of your instances and automatically remove or restart failed instances.
